An aircon Chemical overhaul is needed if your aircon unit is badly clogged and may cause water leaking and loud noises. It can thoroughly cleanse individual components that general servicing cannot do.

British Thermal Units (BTU). It is the standard measurement of heat that an aircon unit can remove from the area. You will need to know the right BTU for your room before purchasing an aircon. Choose the right BTU as an oversized or undersized BTU will affect your cooling experience.


You can calculate the BTU with the following formula: (length of your room in feet) x (width of your room in feet) x 25

Look out for a label that is on your aircon. Otherwise, our technicians will be able to identify it for you.

There can be many causes for this problem. One of the most common causes is when the filters or drainage pipe is blocked. It prevents the condensation from exiting smoothly – that is when your aircon will start to leak.


Avoid having problems by regularly servicing your aircon so that issues like this can be identified and fixed asap.

It could be due to external pollutants like smoke from cigarettes or haze that enter the unit. Another reason could be bacteria formed in the indoor fan coil due to the dark humid environment causing a foul smell.
